HDC Grade 6 guides students in integrating their newfound understanding of human dignity with their own experiences. Worksheets that focus on answering questions on one’s identity allow students to reflect on who they are and who they can become. Review quizzes not only check for memorization but also the students’ ability to connect main ideas from each lesson. Some lessons encourage an ongoing conversation at home through simple homework that allows students and parents to discuss key module topics such as self-gift. Meanwhile, students are given more opportunities to integrate what they have learned through critical thinking and group work like the Pitch, where students envision a mock project plan to invent a life-changing device. This grade also features historical and relevant reading materials that aim to inspire students to make a personal commitment towards their own pursuit for human excellence.
