HDC Grade 6 helps students grow in awareness and respect for their dignity and the dignity of others. Students learn to distinguish between external qualities (such as appearance or abilities) and internal qualities, recognizing human dignity as the deepest internal quality shared by all people, regardless of circumstances, ability, or status. Grade 6 focuses on the power to think and helps students develop excellent thinking habits such as listening to different viewpoints, considering consequences, and seeking wise advice. Through case studies, real-life scenarios and creative activities, the curriculum is structured to develop self-knowledge and respect for human dignity as students explore what it means to pursue excellence as a human being.
