Since the first pilot of the Human Dignity Curriculum (HDC) in 2011, the HDC has been transforming lives. The cross-cutting themes of the curriculum—human dignity, freedom, solidarity, and human rights—have been universally welcomed by students in classrooms around the globe, fostering a deeper sense of personal identity and inspiring excellence.
This past year, the first formal evaluation of the Human Dignity Curriculum was conducted with research published in Frontiers in Education, entitled “Human Dignity Curriculum: Teachers’ comfort, commitment, and perceived support teaching a new socioemotional learning curriculum.” The research notes that as young people struggle with anxiety, loneliness, and a lack of purpose, the Human Dignity Curriculum is a vital tool for “addressing broader social issues involving conflict and social upheaval.
This June, please join us in New York City as we gather for the first Human Dignity Curriculum Seminar of 2025, where educators, researchers, and advocates will come together to explore the impact of this transformative program and discuss its future in addressing critical social challenges.
