HDC Grade 8 reinforces students’ understanding of the universal, intrinsic, and inalienable nature of human dignity. This grade focuses on the reality of the path to excellence through persistence and patience. Lessons introduce students to unlikely heroes like Louis Zamperini, who built a life of excellence despite his troubled childhood. Students are also given the chance to lead by building project proposals in the lesson on solidarity, which models the power to create in order to solve current problems.
